Good luck getting your prescription filled or reaching anyone when you call. They will send you on a wild goose chase and just ignore your calls or "transfer" you to a voicemail system

Go here if you want to be constantly worried whether or not your prescriber will show up for your appointment. Constantly late. As if I don’t have enough anxiety. They add to it! For example, today they mis-scheduled me so I waited for 25 minutes. Then they said he was logging in. Only to tell me he immediately left the room and went to the next appointment because he didn’t “see me.” Stuff like this happens regularly here and they don’t see it as an issue or make an effort to fix it. They don’t care about you. Or your mental illness. Or that refill you need. Left two voicemails to get a refill and didn’t hear back. When my prescriber filled it too early. They don’t care to return your phone calls and the front desk rarely answers. I don’t know who is running the place but it’s getting ridiculous. I would give 0 stars if I could. Too bad the therapists are good. Otherwise I would have left a long time ago.

This is a combination substance abuse and behavioral health center. It is mostly outpatient but I recall there may be a housing option for women. I have complex mental illness and thanks to the care I have received here, my quality of life has been consistently great for the past year. People here are super nice, so the way I see it, Perceptions is a shining star in Willimantic, a town that I believe has great health care overall compared to most towns.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Will be filing a formal complaint with the state government. The basics: -Told me they would offer free services after the suicide of a classmate. Afterwards, they charged me for two sessions. They profited off his death. -Told me I would have to pay $20 per session. They sent a collection agency for $400 after me, even though I only owed $100, they HADN’T billed me, and ALL my payments were on time. They knew I have anxiety about paying for therapy and had been medically abused in the past. -Appointments scheduled 2 weeks in advance were cancelled the morning of, with another 2 weeks to wait before the next appointment -Told a therapist (Krista) I was actively suicidal and planning on harming myself. She found it funny. Asked to see my self harm scars. Smirked and laughed instead of sending me to emergency services. Told her I brought a razor to uni with the intention of slitting my wrists one night. She didn’t care either way. -Abandoned me as soon as I went home for the summer. Gave no referrals and told me over email that they wouldn’t see me anymore since I live out of state. At that point due to COVID therapists could still see out of state patients through telehealth. They didn’t care. For the love of God, please find somewhere else. Please. UPDATE: I have now been diagnosed with PTSD, in no small part due to the horrible treatment I received here during the worst period in my life. I’m being treated by a far more competent psych and therapist, thank God.
