Perfect place to launch your kayak. Boat and kayak ramps are on opposites sides of the parking lot so you don't have to worry about boats launching. However, there is a lot of boat traffic going through the channel. There's plenty of parking and the fishing pier is a bonus.

The launch itself can accommodate up to three trailers across so that in and of itself is great and makes for a short wait if you are headed out on the water. The ride out from the launch on the CT river can be somewhat chaotic at times with people that probably shouldn't be captaining a vessel. But that is pretty much par for the course for most any waterway. Keep your head on a swivel like you are supposed to do, mind your wake and this is all around a great launch.
