Very clean and convenient station for commuting.

Lots of parking. Full size platform on a straight stretch of track, so no issues getting off the train. Downside- No rest rooms. My biggest complaint? What a DUMB A** name for a station. It confuses people to have 2 stops with the Fairfield name. Why not Black Rock, or Ash Creek?

Yes jus be ready to pay for the time. But do let the attendant on duty know. And there only on duty till 5 or 6pm.
Not sure if this question is about the train or the parking lot, but the answer for both is the same - you can just show up. Daily parking is $6, and I've never seen the lot COMPLETELY full - even when I take a late morning train. For the train itself, you can buy a ticket from the app - MTA e-tix - or from one of the kiosks. The Metro North trains operate more like buses or subways than like an airplane. You buy a ticket from one station to another and the ticket is good for any time. The only exception is that trains arriving in Grand Central before 10am or departing Grand Central between 4pm - 7:59pm are considered "peak fares" and are slightly more expensive. If in doubt, buy an "off peak" ticket BEFORE getting on the train, and the conductor will charge you the extra couple of bucks for the difference in fare when he or she comes around to collect tickets.
Just go to the parking lot and pay in cash.
No, you have call a service or hire an Uber or Lift
