Clean, comfortable and quiet station
Tony Nthala
I think it's more cleaner than other stations I have been. Parking options, very close to the station easy to navigate south/north bound tracks. Simple and impressive, bus stop just a few feet from the exit.

Security is lame in this place , today got to the main door in the station sliding doors were closed . People had to go around the whole block to get in the station . I’m pretty sure doors can open manually , security guards nowhere to be seen , probably sleeping . If you are a couple minutes before the train you will miss it

I met very kind, friendly people

On the NYC bound side there are bike racks at the station entrance
Greyhound or metro?
I don't think so, it's really more of a daily commuter rail station
Yes only if you leave the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition
It's the South Norwalk stop. It's actually on the New Haven and the Danbury line. It's one of the bigger stations and most trains will stop there. Merritt 7 is a different stop then South Norwalk
Weekday mornings you can get a breakfast sandwich or a donut and coffee. Not much else nearby. A couple of Latin American restaurants close by that sell already prepared foods
You buy tickets from the machine at the station, or online. Do an internet search for Metro north train schedule. South Norwalk is on the New Haven line
It will be same 8.50 train , the bus about the same plus the ride will be longer
Prime rush hour, just show up and within 10 minutes a train will show up that stops in Stamford. Just make sure you get an express
You go from Norwalk to Bridgeport and you transfer to a different train that will go to waterbury
Very tough to find on street parking. Try public parking lots
