Went at 9. Put me in hall with 5 others. No room. Left. Back 2 hours later. Let in . No chairs stood half hour. Got chair . Older ladie (I'm 64) sat in chair. No sign told couldn't cause a booth chair. Booth closed. Over 10 booth. I person , I fat guard. Gave seat to women. Sat through 3 last one a kid and father. There a half hour. 10 people ahead of me. LEFT. the worst 😫

The office is first-come, first-served. You have to register on a screen when you first arrive and they give you a number which gets called when it is your turn. Be careful, the office closes at 4:00 PM!

Walk in the f front door guard will give you a number very helpful
You have to go into your local Social Security Office and fill out the paperwork and they'll mail you a new one. If you have an account online, you can request a replacement. Again, they will mail it to you. Or you can call the 800 number and request a new replacemnt card. And yes, they will mail it to you. Hope this helps.
