We’ve passed by the Inn so frequently over the last 40 years we finally arranged an overnight stay 3 days ago. We were pleasantly received and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Earlier in the day before our arrival, very icy conditions resulted in a slip and twisted ankle. The receptionist changed our second story room to the first floor without hesitation per our request. Thank you.

Lovely place, renovated rooms, very clean, scenic, by the Contocook river. Staff is friendly. Lots of coffee, cold drinks, and snacks available. Coffee maker in the room. Heater was noisy but didn’t prevent me from sleeping. Room was also very warm even on a low temp setting. Do not hesitate, very nice place. We had 8 people all in five rooms and we were all happy with the rooms

Loved this place. Idyllic, beautifully groomed setting, large rooms, front porches... Spotlessly clean. Excellent service from the friendly, accommodating staff. Amenities were great and worked flawlessly; refrigerator with separate freezer was especially appreciated. Wireless reception left nothing to be desired. Highly recommend and I definitely plan on returning.

This motel is located in a charming town. The rooms are very clean. Right next to the motel is a neat stream, it is very peaceful. They have a nice picnic table there to use. This place even sold candy in the office at half price! King Sized candy at 50 cents each! The rooms are private and well furnished. The glass shower was outstanding. The breakfast was EXCELLENT and the staff was very nice. I really enjoyed my stay there. Thanks again!

We are definitely pet friendly! For a pleasant walk, there is sidewalk (kept clear of snow in the winter) from the Inn all the way to town center about 1/3 mile south. Heading north, the sidewalk continues for 2 miles up to Conval High School. For even less traffic, you can head directly east from the Inn up Sand Hill Road and left on Old Street Road to pet-friendly trails in Sheiling Forest. Or, you can continue towards Monadnock Community Hospital and return via Parmalee Drive and Rte 202 to the Inn for a 2.4 mile loop.
Pretty small parking lot. Call the hotel as they might have a suggestion as to an alternative parking area. Hotel is great.
