The big is an unusual hiking path. Many of plants the in the big are rare in Ohio. If you love hiking and plants, plan to do this area Take mosquito spray as there are lots of watery areas. At one point a boardwalk path covers a low marshy area. This is not a hike for those that need even surfaces. It descends at a good pace, covers boardwalk, bog, roots, and then requires a hike back up a pretty good hillside.

First time visiting these trails and I thought the trails were very clean and well maintained. There are multiple trails to choose from. This is a great place to get a quick walk in.

A nice area. Well maintained trails. Playground and picnic tables. My only issue was I didn't find a map of the trails and they aren't well marked, so we just hiked aimlessly. Also worth noting that dogs aren't allowed in the Nature preserve area.
