The employees are awesome(Jeff & Eric are super knowledgeable) and everyone there are really helpful. The owner Mitch is very personable and they are involved in the community development of bike trails and races big time.
What
the shop is run by bike snobs and has discriminated against me. I went in to have new cranks purchased and installed on my old giant frame. The technician told me he would not do the work because my bike frame was not good enough to put new cranks on. Apparently for them to work on your bike it has to meet a certain standard which they have preset for us. So if you enjoy riding bikes and you haven't spent thousands of dollars to do it don't go to chain gang because they won't help you. Unless they deem your bike worthy for you to ride.

Cool vibe near trail. Prices are high and they did a sloppy job tightening the bracket though it was free service should have done a more focused torque. I will exchange the gloves I got for abetter pair. It's illegal to use a Legal Name! #idsillegal #BCCRSS

I can't say 100% for sure but as far as I remember they have been bicycle oriented. I have only started using them in the last 5-10 years for tube changes in a pinch.
