Overrated. Stopped in as they were opening the door on a Monday and bar seats filled up so quick, we weren’t able to sit down. Tables were reserved for people eating food.

I may take some heat for this but... I just thought it was OK. Basically... It's not as cool as you think it's going to be. You have got to LOVE cheers for this to be worth it.

Dogsh!t. If the downstairs bar is the only one open, don’t waste your time.

Completely chaotic tourist attraction, if you were born after 1990 you probably won't like this, for the old knitters among us it's great, especially if you try to get in touch with real fans who bring all forgotten memories back to the surface .

No, the main (Beacon St) location is too small for the full-size bar like the show. But Cheers has another location in Feneuil Hall Marketplace, and *that* location *does* have the replica bar.
WE DO HAVE AN ELEVATOR!!! 2 actually!!! In addition, we also have a wheelchair lift for the 5 stairs in front of Hampshire House. The elevators can fit regularl wheel chairs, but not large motorized ones. When you arrive, call or if you're with someone, have them go in and get a manager for assistance. 🙂
Actually, no. Mid 1960s I believe. It's name was the Bull and Finch inn.
Loved cheers they have the most gorgeous spiral staircase
If you like the show you will love it. Otherwise it is just a neat very busy bar.
No. Cheers is walk-ins only! See you soon! 🍻 Quick note: on Saturday the City of Boston's "Proof of Vaccination" mandate goes into effect. Everyone 12 years old and older must show proof of vaccination. You can find more info here: https://www.boston.gov/departments/mayors-office/introducing-b-together
I did not witness any bar slides....
No the show was filmed on a sound stage in California. The outside of the building in Boston was filmed for some shots though. Now it is a bar and restaurant with a gift shop for the show.
The original Cheers location, and inspiration for the TV series, is OPEN at 84 beacon Street, Boston. It is in the basement of the Hampshire House. We sadly did have to close our 2nd location, in Faneuil Hall Quincy Market in 2020. The original Cheers (Bull & Finch) Pub is open daily at 11:00AM! We look forward to seeing you soon!
We are open at 11AM every day, in the original location, at 84 Beacon Street! See you soon!

Didn't counts how many table but definitely not 6 foot.between ours table to others just like one person can pass. If u could wait best is to go after the virus dead down of course if u already vaccinated then its your own decisions. Good lucky
Yes 100% open. Food and giftshop
The set bar will start opening more frequently once tourist season gets busier. Next week, the set bar will be open everyday except Wednesday and Thursday. It typically opens at 11am.
The Bull and Finch.
Backbay I walk it, takes about 15 mins.
Not sure but it is a bar so it's possible
Mortons Steakhouse is the best
No, we have 2 locations! We are still open on Beacon Street in Beacon Hill!
We do not take reservations for parties of 6 or less. Depending on the day or what is going on in the city there are some days we do not take any reservations at all. There are three dinning rooms and we have a great system that will not keep you waiting long.
I would imagine not. everyone knows your name... and they're always glad you came.
Cheers is not pet friendly, per the board of health we only allow registered service animals.
if you want bar food go to the replica. the original is a restaurant. Reason people go tobtge replica is because that is what looks like the cheers bar we see on the TV. The original was just inspiration for what you see on the TV.
We parked on the street, paid parking but not too expensive and really close to the front door!
The only day of the year we are closed is Christmas Day. On Thanksgiving day we are open 11am till 5pm.
Sorry not sure but they do offer valet service
You obviously didn't look close enough at the menu at the bottom.
15-25 minutes
Average pub prices - +- $20 -$25 for both
Yes, you'd need to take the train because it's on the opposite side. Unless, you are going to the replica Cheers in Faneuil Hall.
It was a BLAST, Such friendly and efficient staff,, kept them cold kept them comming.CHEERS.
The basement bar is tiny n crowded. The upstairs bar looks somewhat like the 1 on the show, but the space is not nearly as big...
Likely. There's certainty enough TV's. Probably depends on supply and demand. It was crowded so it's not a popular choice, I wouldn't count on it.
You dont have to. I came here to ask the same thing. Meet you there?
