Highly recommend this center and the surgeon. During the actually procedure he make sure I felt comfortable and constantly giving me updates and telling me what came next to calm my nerves. The staff are all very personable and kind, and I felt well taken care of.

As someone who has “white coat syndrome” and faints when I get my eyes dilated at my ophthalmology appointments, I could not give this procedure a higher recommendation for being quick, easy, comfortable and WORTH IT! I was having severe anxiety leading up to the procedure but Manhattan lasik center team, especially Dr Bushbaum, made the procedure an absolute breeze. Once the Valium kicked in and I was able to talk about my nerves with Dr Bushbaum, I felt so much more calm and ready for the procedure with almost no anxiety. When I say the SMILE procedure was painless, I mean PAINLESS. I would do it again tomorrow if needed in a heartbeat that’s how seamless it was. Im on day 5 after the procedure and my eyes are a little dry but it might just be because I work so many hours, however, my vision is great! If you are nervous for this procedure I promise you MLC will take good care of you and you will be raving about it to others shortly!

Smile procedure was incredible. I would do it again just for fun. Entire process was super enjoyable. Only constructive feedback I’d give is around their aftercare follow up. I’m 3 weeks post procedure now, and eyesight is perfect 20/20, no issues. However, would have liked someone from MLC at least calling/emailing to check in on my recovery. That feels like a missed opportunity. Otherwise, highly highly recommend.
