If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would. The BEST experience through Ormond Granite and Marble. I am a renovation rookie. They made the process so easy (AND FAST) that I will be back with my next project!

Ormond Granite and Marble did not follow through with scheduling the inspection of the work they did in 2019 at our condo in Daytona Beach Shores, and they also did not bother since 2019 to reapply for a substitute permit although given notices by Permit Technicians regarding Code Enforcement. Ormond Granite and Marble re-applied for the building permit in the last minute. But that was too late. I had to show up today at the hearing by the Special Magistrate of Code Enforcement in the city of Daytona Beach Shores. I had to pay yesterday $129.37 for the building and plumbing permits, I will have to pay for the notice of commencement (NOC) at the court house, and I will have to pay the minimum administrative fee of $149.09 that will be shown in a written order that the Special Magistrate will prepare and sign. Shelley stated today in an email that she does not know about code enforcement and it would not be their issue. According to a Code Enforcement officer, " It’s in all parties’ best interests not to need to bring the matter to the homeowner, if possible." Here is some evidence by Muriel Lamb, a Permit Technician: " 11/18/2021: forwarded to C.E. as per Steve Edmunds 10/01/2021: Emailed contractor and sub (plumber), once again, about the status of the expired permits for this job. 09/30/2021: Called and left message for contractor. There is still not a N.O.C. on file. 07/06/2021: Called and spoke with Shelley to inform of the expired status of this permit, as well as the Plumbing permit. Emailed her and attached forms to re-apply for the Building Permit, and apply for the NOC. Advised that work must be inspected in order to close out permits. Otherwise, these will be sent to Code Enforcement." 03/26/2021: emailed contractor - permit expired " If you decide to hire them, just make sure to be ready that you might have to pay for extra permits, fees, and fines, not to mention the headache of dealing with the legwork for picking up and paying for permits, paying for fees, showing up at hearings, and so on. In conclusion, I personally would stay far away from contractors that do not care about their customers and deny any responsibility related to their work. The job cost was $4,395.

We are currently running a Sale. The lowest price per square foot is $35. That includes template, fabrication, installation, choice of pencil edge or 1/4 bullnose edge and we also seal the granite. From time of template to installation is about 1 1/2 weeks. Sincerely, Shelley

I know they keep leftover pieces from jobs. They may have something in inventory. Talk to Shelley there. She's been very easy to work with.
