After my initial excitement of a new gym wore off I was able to see it for what it was. I only joined a week and a half ago but I’ve noticed that every time I’ve been(a handful of times) paper towels aren’t stocked for cleaning the machines, the water filing station’s filter light doesn’t even work so I don’t know if the water I’m drinking is clean or not, the shower heads could use some CLR and a scrub, the front desk seems understaffed and there aren’t enough cleaning stations and the few they do have are so oddly placed. They do have plenty of machines I don’t see at other gyms and the overall aesthetic is nice but doesn’t totally justify the price. If I’m paying luxury prices I expect a luxury experience. For close to $100 a month I expect complimentary shower shoes(like the disposable kinds at salons) or at least for the shampoo/conditioner in the showers to be shaken up when it settles and becomes mushy. The guest policy also leaves a lot to wish for and was misleading. When I signed up I was told I could use my points to bring a guest but then I was told I could only use one point every 3 months for a guest. My sister lives out of town but visits semi regularly and we enjoy working out together, I’d love to be able to use a point to bring her when she’s in town but apparently I cannot which sucks on O2’s part to have such a greedy guest policy. Most of the staff I’ve encountered has been friendly and I can’t yet speak for the kids club but I love the idea of it! If the options for gyms with childcare weren’t so slim I’d probably just find a different gym. Overall the environment is welcoming to a beginner like me and I like that there are people of all ages there. I’ll give it a couple of months before making a final decision to cancel or not but hopefully the price increase brings new and better changes for this location.

Not worth the price. Gym is decent and definitely a nice experience, but I can easily point out areas where there is room for improvement that should have been addressed long ago. There are quiet a few machines where the leather in the seat has heavy wear and tears, part of the plastic on one of the water fountains is peeling, the other one has been out of order every time I've visited, they could have more sets of dumbells, its very common that the more commonly used weights like 15-25 pounds are already in use even where there aren't that many people at the gym, and a few other complaints here and there. Over all the experience is nice, I particularly enjoy the steam room, and there are a few unique machines that I see at O2 that I don't often see at other gyms, but personally you don't really need all those other gimmicks, and if you don't need a personal trainer and can structure a workout your self, the raw experience can be achieved at a much lower price elsewhere.

I would lean towards a higher 5 star review, however there are a few preferences that are personal which I must acknowledge. For the pricing I have other locations for exercising that also include swimming, basketball, tanning, etc options that O2 doesn’t not. Secondly, the hours of operations and my personal schedule make it so I am working out at the peak time of 5:30-8:00ish and the gym can be fairly crowded. Overall I am enjoying the energy and atmosphere. It is fairly clean, well lit, and engaging. The staff is personable and helpful.

I joined 02 Fitness this summer and have really enjoyed being a member here. The facility is modern and open with every type of equipment a gym member could possibly use.
