Excellent prices, amazing service increasing prices but not anywhere close to S&S which has serious customer service issues, most likely due to lack of employees scheduled as they're making huge profits. They've also expanded the self checkout areas, which are always backed up unless you're shopping at 8a. And, the machined always needassistance, which they only have one employee for 10 self checkout registers. For years they've gotten away with demographic pricing and underpaying their emoyees. On top of all that nonsense, they've replaced staff in the floor with ridiculous robots that are annoying! Another way they're driving profits. It's a shame, it was a nice place to shop years ago. You can feel the lack of energy in the air and the employees that are there, look unenthusiastic and rarely do you see smiles. I'm sure this is due to S&S's evolved business plan. Do yourselves a favor and drive to Market Basket in Hanover. You will be pleasantly with surprised at the prices and the employees actually smile and walk you to the item you can't fund most of the time! Btw, if you don't want to drive to Hanover, definitely Shaws ranks #2 in Cohasset. By the way, this is for those of us who live on the Southshore. Quincy, Hingham Cohasset, Weymouth and Hull! I love this Market Basket. I enjoy shopping here plus it is also at least 25 minutes away from me. Shelves are always fully stocked and I always find the items that I look for while getting some excellent deals at incredible prices.
