Cute, down to earth motel. We made a last minute call to drive up to Vermont and the owner was very nice in helping us book the last room. Our room was very clean and welcoming. We were not able to experience breakfast but was eyeing the menu.

Best breakfast ever! Everything local sourced as much as possible and homemade! The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Close to Montpelier or St. Johnsbury. Will stay again.

Our stay was a delightful surprise! We needed someplace to stay near Greensboro last minute and there isn't a lot around. The Marshfield Inn and Motel had two rooms - very reasonably priced - that would work for my husband and our 2 boys. We divided up a parent with a child in each room. The motel, where we stayed, has 8 rooms and is truly a motel of days gone by. Drive up to the door with your car and you are home. The simple no frills rooms were soooo clean. The windows were open back and front and the breeze came through. The views are beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous. The breakfast Wendy made us was delicious! We talked about it all day. While this isn't a true B&B, breakfast is separate, it has that feel. Congenial conversation between the tables at breakfast was delightful while respecting each other's privacy. Swing by and stay with Wendy as she is killing it! My twin twelve year old boys want to come back later in the summer. Please say 'hi!' to Lucy for us!
