Lovely temple, lovely choir. The Priest is very animated and the sermons are well thought out. This is my favorite Catholic Church in NYC so far.

Is the 5:30 Saturday Mass a Vigil Mass? If so what is a Vigil Mass?

It is! A vigil Mass is an evening Mass which uses the prayers for the next day. If someone can't make it to Mass on Sunday, they can go on Saturday evening and still honor the Lord's Day.
