My own experiences!!! Well let me tell you on September 29, 1951 I was bar mitzvah boy that day; the synagogue on Union Turnpike had been recently completed; you see I went to Hebrew School around the corner on Kent Street and I remember walking from my home on Tudor Road with my family to the new synagogue on Union Turnpike. Rabbi Moshowitz was my Rabbi. My cousin recently mailed me the prayer book that I was given at the ceremony and lo and behold.... there is a label on the inside that says the was a gift from Junior Congregation. What a memory September 29, 1951.......69 years ago. I am blessed that I have lived this long . And do you know what...it has been quite the journey What a hoot!!!
