The most lovely place and people!

We stayed here in Feb 2020 (right before COVID shutdown) amd again in Feb 2022. In 2020, the place was a bit run down, but cozy and basic. We stayed on the 5th floor I believe. The rates were very low. In 2022, we stayed in the Queen room on 2nd floor facing the front. Wow, what a difference from 2022. The place has been remodeled and it is so much better. Our room was gorgeous!! The rates are higher now. We love leaving a message for future guests in the books they have available for each room. Things to remember: 1. Common hall bathrooms 2. No elevators (so pack light, especially if you are in higher floors) 3. Check in and checkout times are a bit unusual The customer service was better in 2022, but they were always nice and helpful anyway. The location here is wonderful: safe, nice residential neighborhood. Subway nearby. Supermarkets, stores, and great restaurants right down the block. If you want to feel like a New Yorker, this is the place to stay!

good safe place to stay
I would call ahead and speak to someone on the staff about arranging that. They are very kind and accommodating and will be happy to help you I'm sure. The rooms are not set up like typical hotel rooms so you may have to do your ironing in the common area or kitchen.
Hi Pennyrose, Yes we provide all linens (towels, sheets, pillows etc). Guests typically bring their own toiletries, but we do have some courtesy items for those who don't or can't, including the use of a hairdryer if it is available. We hope to see you soon.
