TL/DR: If you can seek treatment elsewhere, you should. I visited the Urgent Care department a few months ago late at night for an unfortunately severe cut I sustained to my finger. The doctor gave me 2 or 3 stitches and bandaged my finger, between literal yawns, and sent me on my way. I received my bill of about $300 a month or so later. It was a bit steep, but I paid it. Then, I received a bill of about $650 from some California company saying they represented the doctor herself. I disputed it, I even had the bill sent to the VA to see if they'd help with it. Now here I am, about 6 months later still receiving bills of an extra $650 on top of the original fee for the stitches and unsure of how to pay it.

This is honestly the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. I went in because I fell down the stairs. I was put in a hallway next to the bathroom. Multiple people were in and out of the bathroom and multiple samples were left in the bathroom for my entire 8 hour visit. As for my injury. The doctor never even looked at my leg. I got X-rays and she said it looked fine. I was completely unable to walk and she refused to give me crutches. I ended up going somewhere else and I tore every ligament in my foot have a hairline fracture and am in a wheelchair now. I was told I could get meds for the pain at st Joseph’s and never received anything. After all that they put someone else’s military insurance on my visit and my insurance on someone else’s. They are 100% incompetent and should not be trusted whatsoever with your health and safety. The doctors are a joke and have zero bedside manner. Stay far away unless you want nothing but issues.
