Nice little sushi place with a mix of more traditional sushi/sashimi and Americanized sushi rolls. They also have options for non-sushi eaters, like teriyaki and bento boxes. Service is friendly, but they do get very busy, so expect a slightly longer wait than usual.

For the guy that said seriously there are places who do happy hour . Sushi alive on race track does. But no umami does not as far as im aware of and we go alot. Umami is awesome though if you haven't gone I really recommend too.

Really specific. I'm not sure about that. I would just call them after 5 p.m. they're closed right now. This is my favorite sushi place and I've been to many in and around Tampa.
You never need a reservation, but anytime past 5pm, they can get a little busy, so you may want to show up before then, or expect a small wait and about an hour long stay.
Beth Reed Ask your server and let her know your friends allergy. It is never 100% safe but they can at least use a new board and utensils. I love this restaurant and I hope it works out for you. Try the dale Mabry roll. ... it's a treat! :)
