Prices are great. Shipping time is equally as good. However, this review is specifically about a recent order of dry flies. Quality control is lacking. On an order of caddis flies, I received two different color hackle collars, two different wing colors and an incorrect hook sizes. I suspect different entities tying flies for this company and I understand that approach but my suggestion to the Fly Shack is make customers aware that they may not receive the fly pattern in the colors as advertised on the web site. Perhaps the adage, you get what you pay for is appropriate. My attempt was to write this review in a positive way and I hope this review will result in a positive change for the Fly Shack and make customers aware of potential issues.

Great Customer Service, quality flies for the price. Very fast shipping. Ordered 100 flies and they were in my mailbox 2 days later. Would recommend to anyone trying to fill some boxes.

Like a few others I was also planning on spending about $500 here this spring on simms freestone waders and other stuff. But after being hassled for vaccination records at the door last time I won't be buy them here and I won't be purchasing online from them any more. Requiring masks is one thing requiring medical records and masks to shop is draconian and shows they clearly don't welcome walk in business. They also violated fire code by deadbolting the door behind me during my last visit after I got the shake down for vaccination records.

Our retail shop is still closed to the public minimize the spread of COVID-19. Internally we have implemented social distancing and mask requirements as well as sanitizing and hygiene protocols. We will look to reopen the retail shop after the community reaches herd immunity. In the meantime, we are shipping orders daily, so if you need anything, please check out our website.
Mark, You should still be getting them. I do see that you are on the list. We have skipped several weeks due to staffing shortages as I did not want to overwhelm the team with orders. They have been working 6 days per week while we try to bring on more staff. I plan on sending the weekly specials email out later today or tomorrow. If you do not get it, please let me know.
