That is a good question 😉 I know they fix old electronics. I don't know if they buy them. You can call and ask them or there is a pawn shop right across the street from them.
I recently had some computer work done with Affordable Computer Repair. They will diagnose your computer free of charge. As far as the cost for repair, it depends on what's wrong with your laptop and what they have to do in order to make fix it. But they are very reasonably priced.
