Mid City is a Major ongoing construction site, there are Several businesses that are already completed and accepting business, there are Several other construction projects in that area, and they are coming along quickly and efficiently.. there will be a parking garage, to complement the apartment complexes that are under construction.., I understand that the old movie theater will remain and be restored, but I don't have accurate information on that... Go visit mid city, there are several projects that have been completed, from restaurants, to physical activities, and also top golf is in mid city

Went to Midcity for the first time this weekend. There’s not really that much there. I pulled into first available parking spot I saw. Wasn’t handicapped and I wasn’t double parked. Came out of a store to find a citation on my car fining me for pulling into spot instead of backing in to it. Again first time there, didn’t realize parking would be such an issue. Save yourself aggravation and go to Bridgestreet or pretty much any other mall instead where you will find more stores, better restaurants, and no parking nazis.
