I called to have my RX emailed or faxed to me. Was told that due to HIPPA they could not fax or email it to me. I work in an office that deals with HIPPA all day and we email with a secured email system. Also not sure what the big deal is about an eyeglass RX.

The team at Northern Lights Eye Care is simply wonderful, always so patient, polite and informative. The other day I had gotten off work and headed that way to pick up my son's glasses, and I saw online that they would close at 5:30. When I got there there was a sign on their door with new office hours, and they had closed a few minutes before I got there. They were still willing to let me in to pick up my son's glasses. That is wonderful service.

Medicaid covers an eye exam and glasses, but they do not cover the contact lens fitting fee or contacts. We carry Medicaid glasses here in our office. Thanks for your question!
We do take walkins and same day appointments whenever possible, especially for urgent medical eye issues. However, if you call ahead to schedule we have time to verify insurance benefits and can guarantee your appointment time. Thank you!
