A super helpful neighbor got me appointment for later next week,....at 76 yrs + I just wasn't up to struggling with my tiny, perverse cellphone!! Hoping all goes well for our neighborhood along Good Hope Rd and SE!!! Update:::: Limited parking so if possible....be let out of vehicle at door....everything went swell.....not crowded at all....in fact I wish I saw more neighbors "getting their jab" Helpful Safeway Pharmacy employee assigned to Wellness center signed me up for. 2nd dose. Don't use wellness center website or phone #.....they don't even list it as an event and don't update weather closings......."voice mailbox FULL" and DC gov. # doesn't have updated weather closing updates for sites...but as spring approaches maybe 'snow' days will be less an issue! BE STRONG, MASK UP, GET THE JAB!

Thank you to everyone who is staffing the center during the COVID-19 vaccination period. I got my vaccine today. The process was smooth and well managed, and everyone working there was friendly and efficient. They also made sure social distance was maintained and assisted seniors with mobility needs. I’ll be back in two months for my second shot. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

I love this place because of the Staff, the various activities and informative classes they provide for Seniors. Dr. Jackie Henry and Her Staff really work hard to ensure that Our experience is a pleasurable and enjoyable one. 😇❤

As I hoped to clarify in my post..... I never did find a way to verify status of my scheduled appointment at the center,....but my inquire would have been about a "snow/weather" closure.

I got my first shot here at The Washington Seniors Wellness Center, but what's the website I should schedule my second shot here? They told me I have to set my own appointment for 30 days.
