Apparently, only if you pass away on certain days of the week or certain times of the year will your loved ones be allowed a bereavement rate. So very disappointed in Port Huron Hampton Inn. Management changed their mind after stating that yes I would be able to get the bereavement rate. When I checked my reservation online, I noticed the rate had more than doubled.

Not great. The room was clean, beds were fine, as well as breakfast. But... We stayed on main floor, and you could hear every step on the floor above us. The aisle smells like skunk, or pot, towards the parking lot exit. Extreme smell... This is the new smell of smoking. Equally annoying. And not good when you travel with kids, and expecting a more that decent stay at a Hampton inn.

Came to this hotel because they said they had a hot tub. Turns out they had to suddenly close it due to covid. Two years in the pandemic and now it needs to be closed? I guess the swim at your own risk and chlorine couldn’t handle it? Got to our first floor room and saw a huge TV. I was momentarily happy until I sat on the bed and quickly realized the TV was compensating for the lack of mattress. Pretty much went right to the floor. Don’t believe the pictures they post of nice white and fluffy beds. They don’t exist. The mattress barely comes up to the headboard, unlike their pictures that show it above the bottom. Glad this stay was only one night. Definitely not held to any standard.

Breakfast may be different every day. But every day will have like eggs some way or another. Then a meat, sausage or bacon, or ham. Then fresh fruit, oatmeal, pastries, waffles, toast. Hot beverages. Juices yogurt cold cereals the variety is fantastic😊

It depends. They have fruit, waffles, breads, sometimes bacon or sausage, sometimes eggs. It's an adequate selection.
They had milk and cream available at breakfast when I was there. Breakfast was your typical Hampton Inn cereals and porridge.
Drivers license and credit card
Breakfast starts at 6 and some rooms do some dont.
Some rooms do not have a microwave but there was a common room microwave where the ice machine was in our case.
