I meant to take a photo before I started eating but the food looked so good I completely forgot. All the food we got was so very good. I got the stuffed chicken and my husband got the lamb, both were very well cooked and tasted great. The desserts were also very good. The service was very friendly and fast, the resturant is very clean and well decorated. It was a great date night I would recommend to anyone who loves greek food.

Love great and unique food and Greektown Taverna does not disappoint! Today I tried a few of their specials and WOW!!! I had a cup of the absolute best New England Clam Chowder ever... Not too thick, not too loose, literally just perfect. Next was their Gyro Pita Pizza (pictured below) w/ Gyro meat slices, Mozzarella, Arugula, Feta Cheese, Pickled Red Onion and topped with a scrumptious Fig drizzle... I pray this makes it's way to their regular menu!!! I never eat desert at lunch but simply could not resist the Lemon Custard w/Filo (Galaktoboureka) and it was to die for! The staff and atmosphere are right on par with the amazing quality meal they prepared.... all together, less than $25... unbelievable.

This was our first dining experience at Greektown Taverna last night. My husband and I had the gyro dinner. The gyro was tender and flavorful. Hands down the best gyro we’ve had in a long time. I chose the peas and rice pilaf. My husband had the peas and Greek potatoes. The peas had a wonderful Greek seasoning and the Greek potatoes were golden brown and delicious. The server was fantastic! We will definitely be coming back even if it is 40 miles from our home.

Always good but last time was phenomenal. Great service and wonderful meal. Had the lamb chops and pilaf and grilled zucchini and a small Greek salad.
