Great people, always willing to help. There is a glass fishbowl where you can pick a random book suggestion from a fellow reader or even add a suggestion of your own. I have had some great picks so far! Reading can take anywhere. 📚

Hi, Kelli. If you are looking to check something out, you can visit www.jaxpubliclibrary.org and browse the catalog. Put something on hold and you can pick it up at the Library. If you are looking to have the library purchase something that's not currently in the catalog, visit https://www.jaxpubliclibrary.org/contact-us/suggest-purchase and fill out the form. Hope that help! Thank you!
No, we don’t have a fax machine. You can scan documents to send digitally if that would be helpful. Thanks for asking!
Yes - we have two weekly Storytimes for Children Birth to 5. The programs are held twice on Tuesdays (Little Artists) and Wednesdays (Young Children Read, Play and Learn) at 10:15 and 11:00 a.m. Pick up a calendar of events next time you come in! The programs are also listed on our website at Jaxpubliclibrary.org under Events.
Thank you for asking! Covered drinks are always allowed in the library. Food is permitted in some areas (the Community Rooms, for example) but not in others. There are signs posted to indicate where food is not allowed.
Yes! You can drop off books (as Victoria mentioned - new or gently used) at any library location and they will go to the Friends of the Library's book sale. The money raised goes to the library to help pay for many different programs. Thank you, Cindy!
