Love it. Nice clean place to cook out and for kids to play. Always a great time.

A beautiful and well maintained park. Lots of trailers and ponds. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Playground was nice and we'll maintained. Definitely a regular visit of ours to get out and enjoy nature a bit.

Awesome place to take the younglings and let them wear themselves out!

We were in Lake City for business. Had a big lunch and decided we wanted to go walk a little bit. Found this park on Google maps. It was very hot the day we were there so we only hiked for about a mile. Lots more to explore! We will definitely go back when the weather is a bit cooler and do some more hiking.

I do not remember seeing signs stating that they are not allowed.
Service Dog. Only I would bring paper of certification.
Not that I know of. And yes there is a park ranger.
Dah.... please read again Mary..
Yes there are a few spots you can fish from.
Yes. I think until daylight savings ends. Then its when it gets dark.
It is your risk. The alligator's love dogs. And there are many.
Because alligators come out at night to feed.
I would say that the main loop around the lake and the canal fishing trail are both possible with a wheel chair. I wouldnt go on the main loop if it had rained recently. It can be soggy crossing the open field. All of the other trails seem a bit difficult for a wheelchair. The disc golf course is not Wheelchair friendly either.
I think it's about 100.
The picnic areas and playground are far from the water, so probably not near those. The trails probably house lots of snakes whether you see one or not.
No pets allowed
We have seen many beautiful pelicans fishing and showing out but can't remember the month we were there. We were thinking Feb/Mar but it may have been in the fall early winter. So awesome.
No pets. I wouldn't want to take my dog there anyway with all the Gators.
No rentals of any kind perhaps you can bring your own
