You take benvenue road back towards the movie theater. Go under 64 bypass. Look to your left as you come up to River drive (light) and turn left. Next light (Falls Rd) turn left (Rky Mills). After crossing bridge use the first right drive to enter Battle Park.
Visited this lovely park recently. Can anyone tell me why most of the people buried in the cemetery were children? Was there an epidemic of some sort?
Yes. There are spots above and below the dam where you can walk to the water and fish. After heavy rains there will be too much water flowing to make fishing successful or safe. At the end of the road into battle park there is a very nice public boat ramp for those with watercraft
