CONSIGNING WITH THE BOAT SHOP IN MERRITT ISLAND ,FL I met Bruce and Lynda for the first time in Nov. 2021 when I inquired about their consignment process. I had never done a consignment, and was not familiar with the details of the process including turning over my title and registration; as well as the boat, trailer and accessories that went with the package. All this was required on the front end before even being posted. In today's day and age, I was leery to give it all away on trust to a business and people I did not know. I had multiple calls with Lynda and Bruce to discuss my concerns and I was assured everything was in trusted and competent hands at The Boat Shop. I did my homework on their business and I called other boat businesses to investigate the various consignment procedures. Lynda and Bruce operate slightly uniquely in as they require possession of the title and registration up front so when a serious buyer is available, they can process the deal and transactions quickly without having to track the seller down and possibly lose the potential buyers interest; good strategy! Once I came to terms with this and made an in person visit to meet Bruce and Lynda; I was willing to take the next step. I brought the boat and all belongings to them; an eighty mile round-trip for me, and we set the process in place. Lynda was excellent about checking in and giving status, and Bruce was excellent in briefing me about any particulars regarding the boat itself that was needed in order for it to sell effectively. I delivered the boat to Bruce and Lynda on 11/6/21 and it sold on 12/4/21 with a Thanksgiving shutdown in between. I got exactly what I asked for price wise and the entire transaction and experience was smooth and efficient. I would recommend Bruce and Lynda to anyone that wants to sell a boat without the hassles, and I would recommend The Boat Shop to anyone that needs service, repair or just honest guidance. Take it from an initial skeptic; these people are honest and trustworthy and they know their stuff. This couple is AWESOME, and I THANK THE BOTH OF YOU FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE - Merry Christmas to both of you!

A+ transaction. Bruce brokered my boat for me and had it sold within 2 weeks. When we signed the contract I gave him the title & keys, and he took it from there. It was sold in two weeks and they even handled the title work with the new owner. I was paid within 3 days of closing and could not be happier!!
