I had the wonderful opportunity to teach at this studio back in January this past year and cannot say enough about how wonderful this place, space and the people are! I was welcomed with such open arms and treated SO well by every person on staff and in the community at Claymore. Sara Wilson and her husband Doug are such lovely people and extremely easy to be around. They are so down to earth, generous and on top of it. The space was set up very well and the way they hosted me for this workshop was just outstanding. I felt like every student was set up for success with their individual work stations. I look forward to going back to this awesome place for a visit or to teach in the future! If your looking for a studio to visit or take a class in Naples, this is the spot!

Questions & Answers

Do you sell bulk clay? We have our own kiln but like to do clay slab work. Just can't find any clay to buy without going to Orlando. Thanks for your help or suggestion. Anne

Go onto Axner.com , find a clay body (stock WC 608- special stoneware and BMIX and frost which is a cone 5-6 porcelain) that you like. Let us know how much clay you need and I will get you a price

All we will do is glue it. Trying to figure out clay bodies and glazes is just daunting!

Do you teach throwing? I threw pots years ago and loved it.

Do you let the public come in and clean green ware, paint and buy your ceramics? I would love to get back into ceramics!! Do you have classes? Thank you!!

Hi Sandy! We don’t do “pour” ceramics. Just hand building and wheel throwing.. try Cone 06 at Livingston and Pine Ridge for the paint your own ceramics.
