I love it here. Peaceful most times and always gorgeous....

A good boat ramp, but it can get really busy and many times jet skis tie up the line to put in and out. There is a current that rips in the area and you are in a major shipping lane that is traversed by very very large ships that kick up substantial wake. Could easily kill you if you stall your boat or get your kayak out in the river and canβt get out of the way in time. Be careful.

I come here all the time. It is a great place to ride on a Sunday see absolutely beautiful views especially at sunrise and sunset. There are times when I spend all afternoon here and hardly see anyone else. Which is great being that I'm only ten minutes from the interstate. What else can you ask for in Jacksonville. The ships that come and go down the river are massive and very impressive there are times you can see over ten in a few hrs. From Battle Ships to huge Cargo and Oil Tankers. Quite a site to see

I go here to relax. It's a peaceful spot. Sometimes you can see the dolphins playing in the river!!! I love π seeing that π. If the city is putting on a fireworks display you can get a wonderful panoramic view from here without all the noise. Limited parking and now there's a private property fence line all along the road leading up to the boat ramp so it's not user friendly as it once was but the view is still amazing.

Yes sir
Heard it was sold some kind of development project
I'd imagine that your clergy person should know. It falls under Jacksonville, not one of the beaches, so contact the city to be certain. There is a trailer there which has a JSO officer whip lives there in it. You might try asking him. For a small affair of just a handful of people and your clergy, probably not. For a larger affair, where you have ... oh more than a dozen or 20 people, I'd pretty much bet that a permit would be involved. Especially if you were to use the enclosures. Bear in mind, that parking is somewhat limited because of the smaller size of this park/ boat ramp. If you plan to use it on a weekend that is good for fishing, you'll have a lot of others looking to park there as well. May your wedding be the first of many wonderful and memorable days, in a long and prosperous marriage!
