Collin is absolutely awesome. My kids played with his as we looked at pythons. He showed my kids the bigger snakes and taught them how to be gentle with them and my kids fell in love. Ended up buying a python then and there. The children have affectionately named him Mario (as in Super Mario). We are excited to return tomorrow to pick him up and take him home with us. ❤️

My wife and I went by the Reptile Barn a couple weeks ago and let me just say- this is the coolest place you can possibly go to for reptiles. Run by a lovely family the Reptile Barn is a very inviting establishment. We didn't get a snake during our visit due to not having an enclosure set up yet, but my wife and I look forward to doing business with them in the future!

We had a great time viewing thier reptiles. My daughters had a great time. They are currently transitioning but they are still organized, I highly recommend The Reptile Barn.

Colin and Liz gave my kiddos a tour of their reptile barn today and it was awesome! I asked because last year my kids got a butterfly kit and REFUSED to even touch butterflies (like crying and scared of them). 🤦🏼♀️ Colin is so knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about animals! He kept both kids interested and they touched and even helped hold the snakes. 🤩 🥳 Thank you for showing us such a unique experience to find in Alaska! We loved it!

We do not have the capacity to re-home animals. We always recommend people to Jonathan's Reptiles. They are an excellent non profit that specializes in reptile rescue. Good luck!
We don't currently sell any variety of tortoises. You might want to check in with Jonathan's Reptiles located in Palmer to see if they have any available right now. They can be found on FB and I believe they have a website with contact info as well.
Yes, we do! Because we run this business out of our home, we do request that you contact us ahead of time to schedule a tour so we can be sure someone is available.
We are open by appointment only, as advertised here and in other places online. The times listed here are to let people know when appointments might be made for.
