Best service I have ever received when dealing with a local government office and its employees. Very professional, straightforward transaction, and questions answered. I wish all other local government Offices in Middlesex County provided customer service like this office does. Very professional and polite over the phone and face-to-face. My visit was less than 15 minutes and that includes getting all my questions answered.

We are wedding officiants who have sent licenses in to this office when we marry couples. We have found them to be fast, helpful and always courteous. Highly recommended.

Either there or your local Borough Hall may issue ID.
Hi Brenda, I believe you can request copies online at https://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/order-vital/online-requests/ This takes longer, I'm sure. I've always found the staff at the office of vital statistics very helpful, and the turn-around time on documents is generally faster in-person. Careful, though! The office is a little hidden. It's not at the County Admin Building at 75 Bayard, but across the street between New Brunswick City Hall and the post office. There's a little pathway where cars exit a parking lot behind City Hall, and if you walk back there, the office of vital statistics has an entrance on your right. If you get lost, there's lots of County Sheriff's Officers around the courthouse there that can guide the way. Hope this helps!
Land records are online, easy to search. Look for Middlesex online land records and follow instructions.
Unfortunately the County does not give out photo id's anymore. You will have to go to DMV to get a picture id.
I believe it's on the 4th floor of admin building... same floor as passport floor.
No, they carry property maps.
You will need to visit the County Clerks Office, they are responsible for swearing in and certifying new notaries.
In the county administration building at 75 bayard is the county clerk and the tax board. I'm sure you can file there.
You need to get it from the health department. Located behind the post office. Next to city hall.
Yes you can register a Trade Name. The county will check the name first to make sure it is available, that no one else is already using the business name you want to use.
If New Brunswick was where you filed original, you need to go to vital statistics office across the street (Bayard) in the Center Court Plaza. You can also order online from NJ Dept. Of Vital Statistics (birth, marriage, death etc), go to website.
The county no longer give out county id cards. You have to go to DMV.
Did you ever get your answer? I have to do the same. Appointment or no appointment?
