An uncontested divorce is a divorce where the spouses have an agreement on all the issues in their case. These issues typically include asset/debt division, child support, time sharing, and alimony. The great majority of cases become uncontested - usually after the mediation and after you have incurred a large expense. The trick is to come to an agreement prior to the start of your case. There is a lot of time and expense to be saved if your and your spouse can come to an agreement.
