I'm a licensed Cosmetologist of 41 years and I'm very impressed with Sepulveda Hair Studio in DeLand! I'm new to this business and I'm thankful for my Nail Tech Aimee Short and happy with her nail services! She takes her time with her clients and is very detailed orientated with giving gel polish manicures and also with her pedicures and I like that they use organic products! David the owner has a beautiful & comfortable full service salon offering trendy hairdressing designs in addition to their other services. This is really a five-star business and I only gave it four stars because I find having to book, cancel, or reschedule appointments a bit cumbersome for me with the Vagaro online system.

Better Vegan

This place is not what I expected, I took my mom for a haircut (just the front) wash and dry and eyebrow waxing. My daughter was also booked for curtain band trimming. My daughter’s appointment was with David at 4:00 pm. Upon arrival he was still with a client and it took him 30 minutes to finish. After he finished he waved good bye and without saying a word left and didn’t come back although he knew we were waiting for him. Our appointment was booked with him days before. My daughter’s hair was never done. My mom’s appointment was with another lady who doesn’t know how to blow dry hair, she left her hair damped inside and she looked worse after she walked out. The whole experience was terrible, this place is a ripoff. There are NO manners with customers. Will never go back. Save your self a headache.

Second time here and I still wasn't impressed. I been a hairstylist for a decade and have had my hair in every haircut possible and this has been the worst hair I have ever gotten. Appointment was for 3p.m, showed up 5-10 mins prior to my appointment (was getting a haircut and eyebrow service) and wasn't serviced until almost 3:30p.m. no biggie, I was patient. We get to the chair and my starting length was a little above my shoulders and took it to a medium/short pixie. It's now 4:30 p.m and I'm almost about done in the chair. First time was new client haircut/color service and this time just a haircut and eyebrow. Neither times I had a blow-dry with my haircut (especially if you are paying well over $130). Once we were done in the seat for an hr, at this point is a quarter to 5p.m and no mention of my eyebrow service, so I let it be. Hair looked fine at the salon because it was still a little wet but once it fully dried (I have natural curly hair), it was shorter then I expected even when I mentioned to the stylist the reason for my hair cut was my hair has been falling out. Products at the shop are really overpriced and not enough knowledge behind the products being sold. I am also too a hair professional, have been a manager to multiple hair salons and I have never treated nor been treated this unprofessional in my life. I always give businesses/individuals a second chance but that was my last time going. I am not going to sit in some else's seat and tell them how to do their job, that's what practicals/interviewing is for before you decide to put them on the floor; a bosses job not mine. I had to go home and fix the mess and whatever hair I had left on my head. Let's see what unprofessional comment I receive for this review. If my comment falls under "If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all" then you have no business have any businesses.
