Ogden Lash and Wax offers a variety of waxing services that are perfect for extending the life of your wax. We use the latest techniques and equipment to ensure that your waxing experience is as comfortable and effective as possible.
The length of the hair depends on the type of wax you are having done. For example, if you are having a brow wax, the technician will only need a small amount of hair to work with. However, if you are having a bikini wax, the technician will need more hair to grab onto in order to remove all of the unwanted hair.
It is best to trim the hair down to a quarter of an inch before waxing. At Ogden Lash and Wax, we use hard wax which grabs the hair as close to the skin as possible. If the hair is too long, it will be difficult to remove and could result in pain or skin irritation.
The best way to prepare for a waxing appointment is to make sure that you are exfoliating the area to be waxed at least 24 hours prior. You should also avoid using any lotions, oils, or other products on the skin in the days leading up to your appointment. If possible, take a shower just before your appointment so that your skin is clean and dry.
There are a number of areas that can be waxed, including the eyebrows, upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns, neck, chest, stomach, back, arms, hands, legs, and feet. At Ogden Lash and Wax we specialize in waxing all of these areas. We use top-of-the-line waxes and techniques to make sure that your experience is as comfortable as possible.
It is possible to cry with lash extensions; however, it is recommended that you avoid getting the extensions wet. If you must cry with your extensions still in, make sure to blot your eyes dry with a tissue to avoid ruining them.
If you're lucky enough to have long, luscious eyelashes, you probably want to keep them looking good for as long as possible. One way to do this is to get Eyelash Extensions! They are a great way to achieve the look you desire without having to rely on sturdy mascaras and falsies that can damage your natural lashes.
There are a number of causes of eyelash infection. One common cause is improper eye makeup removal. If you don't remove your eye makeup properly, bacteria can build up on your lashes and lead to infection. Another cause of eyelash infection is using subpar cosmetics. Using cheap mascara or other Eye makeup products can increase your risk of developing an infection, as they may contains ingredients that irritate the skin. Finally, if you don't clean your lash extensions regularly, they can also become a breeding ground for bacteria and lead to infection.
If you don't wash your eyelashes, they can become clogged with dirt, dust, and other debris. This can cause them to look dull and may even lead to irritation or infection. Eyelashes are an important part of our anatomy, so it's important to keep them clean and healthy!
Clean Lashes = Better Retention Build up of oil, skin, dirt, and makeup on your extensions will cause premature shedding and can break down the adhesive. Your lashes are meant to catch debris to protect your eyes and your extensions will do the same. So make sure you're cleansing these impurities away.
