Visited this park after a while. Would like to see the city of dallas install a sitting area and add a public restroom to accommodate sports lovers just like the russel creek park in plano,TX.

Spectacular, isn't it? Finding this gem would be difficult if you know which bridge to take. It's also a great place to start a hike or just sit in your car and let time fly as you observe the sky turn to dusk [or dawn] whichever your preference is. I'm more of a dawn viewer and spectate the sunrise. [Night owl]

The view of the downtown is just amazing from here and has a huge space for picnics and to play! Well maintained as well

Beautiful park! Love to visit the cow sculptures, watch the birds and river. View of downtown yet wonderfully secluded. It does shut down when there's been rain, because the area floods. Preventing the city from flooding is the reason the Trinity River basin has been left alone instead of built on, so keep that in mind before complaining. This deserves 5 stars but unfortunately, as with all Dallas parks, the parks dept needs to send for trash collection more often. The park often struggles with full trash and litter. The landscapers mow right over it rather than picking it up, leaving tons of little plastic pieces in the grass.
