Everybody is friendly. But professional. You are allowed to visit twice a month but you get a lot of groceries each visit. Bring ID and]proof of residence (bill) if it's your first time. No need to get out of car. Make sure trunk is empty.

You should be prepared to have a picture ID. 2-3 pieces of proof of residence being prepared for me has always worked out for the best. It may not be required at the food bank. It's always Better to have them rather than to need them. 1. Picture ID. Valid 1a. Proof of residence, electric bill. gas bill. Lease agreement, YOUR NAME YOUR ADDRESS. 2. Birth certificates, 3.Social security cards ( everyone in the group) 4. Food stamp card, 5. medical cards, 6. Bring plenty of bags for the groceries wagon? Stroller? 7. Be there between 930 -10- 1130 Closed at 12 noon. 8. Be prepared to wait in line. 9. Have a BLESSED day. You show up with an ID, they open at 9 but the cars begin lining up around 8:45. You drive through, show your ID, and they load up your car. If no vehicle then bring a wagon!

Just go there in the morning before they hand out the food bags to the people and speak to the person in charge for that day and more than likely they will let you help out because help is always needed there.

When I went they gave me the food bank i.d. and I was told I had to have it when I went or no food.
The food bank is open mon-fri. They'll be busy but as long as you have a valid I. D. Maybe mail (page bill) you should be able to get signed up with them and I believe you can get food twice a month. They usually have holiday food this time of year. Good luck! Oh, you do have to bring your own bags or something to put the food in. There's also a program called bread of life that you can check out! I believe they have foods 3rd sat of the month but you should be able to look it up online.
