Nice and peaceful. Lots of flies; due to the horses people bring in and either don't clean up after them or empty their horse trailers of manure and/or alfalfa & hay. No water. Ants can be horrendous in some spots. Highly recommend it though. Be self sufficient though or 20 miles east or west to nearest town.

Lots of campsite opportunities and the toilet facilities, while typical pit-type, are clean and well-maintained. One star off for the relentless flies which I assume is due to the horse manure in the area. This was an excellent base for motorcycle rides.

You are not supposed to target shoot here. I believe you can shoot game. But no target shooting.
Plenty of room for rvs if it's not busy and this road has other campgrounds as well.
Campground is usually closed during the winter months due to the creek rising. 🇺🇸
