Very nice afternoon. Clean and lots of shade to sit in and watch the kiddos play in the water. Perfect current and sand was soft and beautiful and Sparkling.

Went to eat lunch at the picnic table under the gazebo but was pestered by a homeless guy named Billy, and his pit bull. Went for a hike- was pretty nice but I don’t really like hiking on roads where a car can drive. Much of it is not nature- it’s old irrigation channels. It’s nice for an urban area.

Nice no frills river access with picnic tables and a walking path. Parking is limited. Downside is the dirtbike park on the Marysville side of the river. You hear the dirt bikes all day while at the park on weekends.

I love coming here on my lunch break. There are picnic benches, a cemented & dirt bike/walking path and of course the river! It’s beautiful, peaceful and relaxing if you need to just get away. If you enjoy nature & being outside then go check it out.

I've had some luck under the bridge. Even some largemouth where the water is relatively still.

Follow the entrance off of Market St. It will take you over the levee and to the parking lot. Short walk to the water.
