Great things to do to boost curb appeal; 1. Power wash, to get rid of spider webs, dirt, etc. Overall it will brighten & clean your home. 2. Paint where needed; whether just the trim, or the body of your home, if its time to update the color or freshen the look, - it will be worth the money spent. 3. The easiest way to boost curb appeal is to clean up your landscape. Edge the lawn; remove and replace leggy or dead plants. Add new 'color' /annuals to your yard. buyers will be attracted to a neat, freshly landscaped yard.
First and foremost, your agent should know the market, and be able to provide data about homes in your area, so you can make well-informed decisions when pricing your home. Secondly, your agent should have an in depth marketing plan that will maximize the exposure your home receives. And finally, you should be able to trust your agent, and expect honesty, integrity and open communication with regard to all aspects of the sale of your home.
For Sale By Owner's (FSBO's) traditionally make at least 15% less on the sale of their home than sellers who hire (and pay) a real estate agent to list their home. A good Realtor will work with you as your advocate, consulting with you on the pricing, marketing and actual sale of your home. By maximizing the marketing and exposure of your home to the most amount of buyers in a broad market, your Realtor will maximize the amount you receive for your home, negotiating on your behalf for your interests. And finally, once under contract, your Realtor will manage the sale process, ultimately getting you to the finish line with a successful sale. Did you know as much as a third of all home sales can go awry in the middle of the contract process over disputes related to repairs? yet another important reason to have a Realtor on your side of the sale.
