I-85 N Alamance County Rest Area

Beautiful grounds and well kept buildings. The gentleman cleaning today was friendly and pleasant to speak with. Plenty of parking. Nice area to sit and eat/relax before hitting the road, again. There is a separate building from the restrooms that have vending machines. Good for some quick snacks. Plenty of room to park. Has a seperate area for semis as well as another seperate area for pick up trucks and cars with trailers. Great job!

I almost forgot the I-85 N Alamance County Rest Area. I don’t normally drive that late but the visit with my brother was worth it. I was unable to take better quality pictures but this will have to do. I will say that I was very impressed with the variety of parking options, especially the ones for RVs and pull behinds. The spaces are far enough from each other for anyone to use their generator. The hypnotic interstate traffic noise drowns most of it out anyway. It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t see more of this rest area but I could not wait to get back on the road again. 🎶😉

Incredibly clean place for a short stop. Enough parking area. Like other rest areas, good for a dog walk. It has a nice selection of vending machines. I l personally liked the coffee vending machine. Usually you don’t come across many of them.
