Best place to shop for a mattress IMO. Prices are reasonable and after 6 months on a latex mattress I would highly recommend it.

The employees are very nice, although a bit hands on and salesy for my taste. The issue I have is that their selection is subpar. Most everything is a spring mattress and they all felt the same, even though some were much more expensive. The foam mattresses (the 3 or 4 on the floor) were all very soft. Prices are not the best. We ended up ordering from somewhere else.

If 10 is a perfect score, the Original Mattress Factory on Spring Forest Road in Raleigh is a 10 plus. Last week I purchased an orthopedic extra firm set (mattress and box spring) with the help of salesman Eric Matheny. I actually made 2 trips to the store to made sure I was choosing the mattress best suited for me. Eric was very patient and never made me feel rushed. When it came time to do a little paperwork, Eric took the time to explain all charges and then scheduled a delivery date that was convenient for me. While I was dealing with this company, I did encounter several other employees. All were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. I got the idea that the morale in this store is high. That is something very unusual today. I thank the Original Mattress Factory and Eric for a most pleasant experience.
