1. The staff (ALL OF THEM) are too loud and laughter is earth rattling. 2. They have a new rule that they can't check you in until 10 minutes prior to appointment time! But if you show up late they will require you to reschedule. 3. You have to wait in various waiting rooms. For h.o.u.r.s. at a time with no updates given. 4. Chances are very high you will never see a real doctor. 5. They way overbook appointments and the whole place reminds me of a three-ring circus!! We've been here for 6 visits averaging 5.5 hours. God forbid you give any feedback about their timing or procedures. They will then label you an issue and your wait time doubles. I'm here right now at 5:09. My appointment was at two and the several-step process has not even started yet!

Do not recommend this place at all. My right eye is almost completely blind and my left eye is going. Been trying for 1 year to get something done and they say they will get back to me which they don't. You have to stay on them till they get mad and finally call you back. They are so unprofessional . I was told Someone would get back to me Friday a week ago, I have heard from no one. This place needs to be shut down, no questions ask.

Kittner Eye Center had lost its "vision" of caring for people's eyes. They care about "herding" people to be moved from room to room. They care about "training" future ophthalmologist. If you or a loved one have to come here, plan for at least 3-4 hours and a lot of patience. We did come here a month ago (an afternoon appointment) and it was not a good experience. (came back because we were trying to give them a second chance). The first time, my husband seen only a resident (aka "doctor in training"). The resident didn't seem to know what drops my husband was taking (hence failure to read the chart) and my husband didn't see an ophthalmologist that day. The resident looked at my husband's eye with a light that ended up giving my husband a headache. The resident didn't seem to know what he was doing. It was disappointing and a waist of time. We rescheduled a future visit with a doctor. It was a morning appointment. We were hoping for a better experience. The technicians were nice and helpful. After my husband's vision was checked, and detailed pictures were taken, we waited. After 1 1/2 hours, guess who walked in: the resident from before and a medical student. He asked about the eye drops he was taking and I said it was in the chart. The resident then asked about different drops and I said that there wasn't even a prescription for those drops. He proceeded to look at my husband's eye with a bright light again...I guess the digital pictures that were taken an hour before wasn't good enough. He then asked if the medical student could look at his eyes. My husband and I quickly said no. We just wanted to see a doctor. Finally after 2 hours of being at that appointment, the doctor comes in, looks at his eyes, tells him to continue taking the medicine he is currently on and use one less eye drop per day and to schedule a follow-up appointment in two weeks. So, that is the care my husband received while he was there. It was not a good experience (again). You may wonder if we will be back. I'll let you decide. You decide for yourself how you want to be treated and go where you want to go.

This was an absolute nightmare. Just to clarify...we sat there for 5 hours to be told we couldn't be helped until weeks later. The matter was regarding what they felt should be an "urgent" surgery. Not so urgent, I guess.
