My mom just passed suddenly so my family needed to come to town right away. We called for availability and they were able to accommodate us for 4 nights. Everything seemed to be going well until we arrived and found the place under construction which was never mentioned to us. As we checked in and got situated in the room we found out that the ac wasn't working right, the faucet in the bathroom was spitting out water at a hurricane pace and that we had no hot water for our showers. So we went to call the front desk and now the phones weren't working. We went back downstairs to tell the front desk and they said unfortunately the maintenance person was not in tonight and since they were booked up they could not change our room but that he would come back and check in the morning. They did give a discount to our room for no hot water though for just that night. Maintenance came and repaired everything but the hot water, he said the boiler was not putting enough heat but that he would adjust. So we left and came back that night after along day of getting things taken care of for my mom's funeral and BAM!!!! NO HOT WATER!!!! Again there was no maintenance so we took cold showers. We came downstairs and told the front desk lady (Ashley) about the issue and she just walked by us and yelled for another maintenance guy to see what was the problem. He came and said the same thing as the first maintenance guy did and that he really couldn't do anything to fix it. We called back to Ashley and she gave us an attitude as if we were bothering her. She said what do we want her to do that she can't do anything, then she complains to us that no else is complaining. As my wife was explaining what she would like, Ashley hung up on her. She called back 5 mns later and said she found 1 room available but as my wife was explaining we had a suite with 2 rooms since we had our grown children with us and she had the nerve to say I don't care I'm only giving you 1 room. We told her never mind and called the Holiday Inn customer care and explained everything to them, they said that someone would call us back and it never happened. We never did get hot water through our remaining days and Ashley made it a point to ignore us the rest of our stay. Hard enough I had to come here to bury my mom and now I have to deal with ignorance at Holiday Inn. I will never stay here again because of all the issues we had with the room and front desk ( Ashley).

Front desk was kind and helpful. The jacuzzi room was large and clean. TV broken and scratched. The neon Light outside the window was bright blue so had to use extra bedding to cover it up for sleep. We had a restful and safe night. Very quiet. Breakfast was better than I have seen at most hotels. Eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt, coffee and much more. Didn’t use the pool. I would stay again if in the area.

The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude. She said her name was Nicole. She had glasses, tattoos and shorter hair. She was licking her fingers, was very short with us and threw the keys at the table before leaving without a word to the back. Our room was filthy and outdated. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed. When we complained, she said "they are all like that."

This hotel was good. Rooms were very very clean. Location was great and easy to get to. Felt safe there too. Huge plus was the parking lot...its big. That was awesome as often times we cant find a parking spot as we mainly arrive late at night. Breakfast was not good but thats kinda hit and miss. The front staff was cold towards us but they did help us just werent friendly at all.
