What a cool place this was. I think I am fantasizing about having my own apple farm at home. It smells great in here like fresh apples when you bite into one of these things you really can tell the difference from having a store-bought Apple versus Fresh Pick Apple off a tree. These are one of the cool things that you can experience in the Northeast and especially when the weather's cooled off and you can enjoy the smells and the tastes. They have a apple cider slushie that was amazing and had no sugar other than the natural apple sugars in apple cider. This place does get crowded so I think you have to get make reservations but that kind of keeps it so it's not too crazy. Definitely recommend you check this place out. Five stars

Great picking, a little pricey. Hard to really tell this year with so many places having limited crop.

Great apple picking family goes every year.

Blackman farms had become our annual destination for Apple picking. A lot of fun for the family. Love the reserved time slots which help to keep crowds down.

Great story! Glad you've made our family farm your family tradition. We'll be open that weekend (Columbus Day Wknd), we won't know which apples will be ready that weekend until we get closer to harvest but should be plenty to pick.
McIntosh are ready this weekend! We open Friday the 11th. See our full schedule on our site and don't forget to reserve a time slot. https://blackmanhomesteadfarm.com/
Hi - anytime mon to wed 9am to 6pm
No I do not believe they have grapes to pick. I've gone 4 years now and have never seen a area to pick grapes.
Unfortunately only in NYS
On the weekends, you will need a reservation to get in the orchard
Yes. They have an iPad they swipe.
Look at their website. Not all apples are ready at the same time.
Sorry - we don't have the hay rides this year. There are other things to do with animals and straw bale climbing.
I believe so, but they are still pretty safe as long as they are carefully washed
I'm sure that they do have some varieties available now but certain ones are only available in late fall. I suggest calling weekly to see which ones are being picked.
