This was the second time we brought in some of our things first time was a bunch of coins and some paper money and the owner seems to work super fast felt rushed a bit and had that feeling after we left and the next day that we did not get a fair deal. The second time was yesterday this time we took in gold a 14 k gold nugget watch one thing I did not like is when its weighed he does not show you on the scale how much it actually weighs gave my husband only $1600 for that seems way off that was a lot of gold! I had 3, 14 kt rings 1, 18k ring and 1 white gold ring setting and he gave me $575 for the little bit of gold I had, and we have that same feeling like we were taken advantage of.. Just odd that when you leave some place and you have a feeling that you got ripped off and it's not a good sign to me and not weighing the gold to where we can see the weight seems a bit sneaky to me!!! I do not feel the dollar amount he gave my husband on the heavy gold watch was fair at all my rings only made a 1/4 of the watch band?? What happen there??? I do understand the owner needs to make money too but its just that not so good feeling, Just the vibe being taken.. Plus we mentioned to Jeff that we were not sure he was the same guy who helped us the first time when we brought lot of coins in then he mentioned another guy named doug saying he use to work there and ripped them off that probably helped us before. Uhh no it was Jeff the owner both times same guy with us both times fast talking, rushing us I suppose so we did not have time to think about asking to see the actual weight of our gold... So everyone says honest and very fair ehh not so sure about that. It's very questionable ...... Not so sure I will be bringing any more valuables here We definitely feel ripped off .... Esp on the watch

Shopping here numerous times. Had to sell gold and silver after death in family to help pay bills. Was shocked at the good deal I got. Also purchased here before and got good deals. Best LCS!

I have been here quite a few times to purchase (and bid on) coins and I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best places to go. Jeff, the owner, is incredibly friendly and is always willing to help. He is extremely knowledgeable about everything and the prices are more than fair. If you're in LA County, stopping by is a must.

You receive fair current price for gold. For specialty coins like African gold I would ask someone else

Questions & Answers

Are you an authorized coin dealer. Do you send coins off to pcgs to get graded for people

Linda Linsea | Sep 26, 2019
Thomas Anderson | Sep 25, 2020

Yes they are, and the owner will look at the coins first to let you know if its worth it to submit your coins for grading as the fees add up and its a tier system for pricing so they can give expert advice before submitting for you... it is a full service coin shop, bring your coins in, fair, honest, great service, very friendly! And check out the Bid Board! Hope this helps!

Walking lady liberty silver dollar what's is it worth fair condition

Coins value depend on many factors such as date, mint mark or where it was made, condition coins are graded 1-70, how many were made, and how many still around today, and how many around today in that condition, some coins are very stable, and some trade like stocks on the market... so the only way to get an accurate appraisal on a coin is to bring it into the shop and have an expert look at it, they are very fair and honest. Doesnt hurt to check, no pressure to sell, but they will buy, or you can put on the bid board auction in the store... no matter what never clean or wipe down coins will destroy the value! And only handle by the rim of the coin to keep skin oil off especially gold and silver coins the fingerprint will be there for life. Good luck, I hope this helps!
