I drive all the way from Altadena in traffic just to get some of your Gumbo, fried Catfish and Greens. The Gumbo is on point๐๐พ

Seafood was so fresh. Highly recommend it!

My peach cobbler was terrible and so was my bread on the side. But the veggie gumbo was good.

I got the vegetable gumbo soup. It was like food my grandma made. So very good but pricey. Probably because it's in the heart of LA and the overhead is high. But the food is ๐ฅ. Nice family business too. Don't let the plain/minimal decor scare you. All the glory is in the food. They know how to make a Roux! I will be back!

Ms Smith you can get some crawfish mac and cheese at little jewel of new Orleans it's around down town maybe they could do you a lobster mac.... I said I would never eat crawfish I ate the mac and cheese and it was actually very good
I Don't know but it's probably andouie sausage pork!
Don't know which sausage, but the gumbo is well stocked with all the ingredients. We get the gumbo 2 or 3 times a month. They have a varied menu ๐ I'm trying different things as I go. Just remember it's Creole (spicy). I give it 4 stars ๐
I don't think so... straight up Good Ole Soul Food... simply delicious ๐
6ft apart when in line. No mask no service. No indoor dining. No physical menu for you to touch
