The sermons are very basic and boring since Octavian became the pastor. He goes on and on and focuses primarily on historical sermons of the Bible and less about how the Bible applies to our current times. I could just stay home and read the Bible story books for the same messages instead of driving and hour to this church. It’s also holiday season week after thanksgiving now when people focus more on Jesus and his birth, not Zaccheus and taxes........because of his Romanian background he still is not accustomed to what we do here in the United States around certain times of the year/ He also goes until almost 1pm. WAY TOO LONG. People need to eat at lunchtime, it’s not good on the blood sugar to wait past 12 or 12:30z I’m sticking with Tehachapi SDA Church ⛪️

As is common with Adventist pastors, they move from one church to another as God calls them. Pastor Petsch moved up north to work as a chaplain for a VA Hospital. Pastor Timothy Baze went back to college to get his masters degree. We wish them well and God's blessing.
